Inspiration
I take concepts from initial ideas - inspired by nature and natural forms, as well as retro designs - right through to the finished product by careful selection and design, imagination, colour and composition.
Techniques
By methods such as free motion machine embroidery, fabric applique and using traditional hand embroidery, I can add interest and texture resulting in a compelling mixture of harmony and balance in my work.
